For eleven years Melville, along with the support of our customers, has been exploring the diversity of our vineyards through both the estate and small lot collection wines. With the release of our eleventh vintage and a more comprehensive understanding of our vineyards, we are excited to now offer a wine club to our most loyal customers.
We see this decision as a natural evolution of our business and as an opportunity to further showcase and explore our vineyards’ nuances through special and very limited bottlings. We will continue to send regular newsletter offerings for the wines and events that you have become accustomed to, but for those who join one of our three wine clubs, an entire new set of advantages will immediately commence. Examples of these benefits include discounts on all purchases, access to rare bottlings, complimentary tastings and invitations to wine club only member events.
Wine Club members will enjoy three shipments per year arriving in the months of January, April and November. There is no cost to join one of our clubs except for the cost of the wines themselves. Club shipments began January 2011. The next Club Shipment will be April 2012. Listed below are descriptions of the three wine clubs and their respective benefits.

Premier Cru
- 15% off on all winery purchases including wine, merchandise and events

Grand Cru

- Membership limited to only 500 members
- 3 shipments per year with 6 bottles per shipment
- Shipments to include selections from our Estate and Small Lot Collection bottlings plus limited special bottlings available for only Grand Cru Club and Monopole Level Members
- 8 Complimentary Wine Tastings per year
- Invitations to special vineyard and winery educational seminars
- $225 approximate cost per shipment including wine, tax and shipping
Mixed
Monopole
- 25% off on all winery purchases including wine, merchandise and events
- Membership limited to only 250 members
- 3 shipments per year with 12 bottles per shipment
- Shipments to include selections from our Estate and Small Lot Collection bottlings plus limited special bottlings available for only Monopole Level Members
- Invitation to annual Monopole Club Level member’s event catered by Melville
- Unlimited complimentary Wine Tastings for 4
- Use of private room with vineyard views for tastings and lunch with winery concierge once per year and by reservation.
- Invitations to special vineyard and winery educational seminars
- $410 approximate cost per shipment including wine, tax and shipping
Mixed
By signing up for one of our three clubs you are acknowledging that you are over 21 years of age and authorize Melville to charge your credit card for the above three annual shipments. Melville will select the wines for you. Credit cards will be charged one week before physical shipment of wine. Club membership can be canceled at any time, after the receipt of your first club shipment, with at least one week’s notice prior to any shipment.
